InvestED: Ep. 249- Events

“I only want to do things I’m passionate about and when I stop loving them, I stop doing them.” – Phil Town

In this week’s episode of InvestED, Phil and Danielle talk about “going for gold” and why you don’t need to have a job that makes a ton of money because your return on investments will be high.

Since a majority of the investing world does not believe it’s possible to generate a high return on your investments with low risk, the door is open for the rest of us to find wonderful businesses on sale.

As Rule #1 investors, you want to invest in what you value. Investing as a Rule #1 investor is about lifting your own values up through the companies you invest in – and not losing money!

Later on in the episode, they discuss a “quick question” from a loyal listener, Toby, inquiring about what resources he should use to acquire information on events.

What exactly is an event? Phil and Danielle discuss how they define an “event” as well as the role that fear plays in the outcome.

If you want to learn more about what an event means to investors and where they find out their information about events, join us on the podcast today!
